The MasterCraftsman Award is the pinnacle of grooming certification at Levels 4 & 5, showcasing your advanced grooming skills and knowledge. Upon successful completion, you'll earn the prestigious post-nominal MCG, demonstrating your expertise. This course is designed for groomers with a minimum of 2 years of full-time experience and ongoing CPD, and can be completed remotely through our online e system. It includes 10 theory modules covering breed standards, grooming techniques, and salon management, along with practical assessments via video evidence of your grooming in four specialized modules.
This course can be completed remotely from within your own salon via video evidence of dog grooming the 4 practical modules consist of:
Module 1 wire coat handstrip
Module 2 silky coat handstrip
Module 3 Scissored coat
Module 4 Clip and scissored coat

You have up to 12 months from enrolment to complete the full course.
On completion of each practical module learners will receive the Module rosette and on completion of the full course learners will receive the OCNNI certification and MCG Glass award.
