This course is aimed at the beginner to learn all the basics of commercial pet dog grooming to groom the most popular breeds of dogs in basic pet trims.
Throughout the course you have 12 practicals hands on lessons and will groom a range of breeds from covering a range of coat types and learning all the head, body, foot, ears and tails styles for everyday commerical pet grooming and how to adapt these to suit a range of the most popular breeds to start grooming. You will work on our range of training dogs with a max of 4 students in the salon at any one time. You will also learn all about tools, equiptment maintance, safe handling and health and safety. (Please note the Diploma is the Industry standard Qualification for a fully qualified Groomer you can top up to the diploma after completing the certificate additional 8 days plus 5 improver days and additional fee off £
) On competion of the course you will also have 5 free improver days these can be added onto the intial course of taken within 12 months of completion of the course plus we are always on hand for advice post course.

Qualification: Ofqual Regulated OCNNI LEVEL 3 Diploma in Commercial Dog Grooming , Animal Welfare & Salon Management includes Pet cpr and First-aid and Business Salon Management.
Attendance: 20 Hands on practical attendance dog grooming Lessons. 50 hours online homestudy.
5 Free Improver Grooming days within 12 months of completion of the course. Courses run all year round so you can start at any time. Lessons are tailored to suit so you can attend 1/2/3/4/5 days per week, we also have some weekend sat/sun lessons. Lesson duration is approx 3-3.5hrs and you will groom one dog start to finish per lesson and complete associated training within that lesson. Weekday classes run 9.30am to approx 1pm daily and Sat/Sun 9am to approx 12.30pm. Occasionally we have afternoon and other times available please ask iaccollege@aol.com
