Canine First-aid & Cpcr

The Canine First-aid course is an Online course with approx 10hrs of  52 interactive lessons in pet first aid and cpcr by Dr Sophie Bell Veterinary Surgeon of Animal Love plus a 1 hour revision lesson to help you with your assessment workbook- you have up to 12 months from registration to review the lessons and complete the course and  assessment tasks.  

Course Description:
This is an intensive pet first aid course covering what to do in emergency first aid situations. How to carry out vital checks on pets  Communication, Signs of Pain, Clinical Examination, CPR, Choking/Drowning, Bandaging, Gastric Torsion, Pyometra, Wounds, Bleeding, Trauma/Shock, Diarrhoea, Kennel Cough, Parasites, Ear and Eye problems, Toxins, Seizures, Alabama Rot, Lungworm, What to have in your first-aid kit and more! and much more... there is a mixture of theory, videos and interactive lessons throughout the online course. Everything to be become an Educated Pet Owner or Pet Professional and to help you Know What To Do In an Emergency. This may help you save your best friends life!
Qualification and assessment: Students will achieve an Ocnni Level 3 award in Pet first-aid and Cpcr on successful completion of the course which is an Ofqual regulated qualification which helps pet professionals comply with the Defra Animal Activity Licensing (AAL) Regulation requirements of an Ofqual regulated qualifications.

The coursework which involves building a portfolio of  short answer questions and some video or photographic tasks to demonstrate the practical first-aid learnt throughout the course no scarey exams these can be carried out on a stuffed toy or on your own pet to demonstrate what you have learnt on the course.

 

Course fee: £145 full payment at time of booking fee includes online course and ocnni qualification, assessment and certification.
On successful completion students will receive:
Ocnni level 3 award in pet first-aid and cpcr qualification and certificate.
Membership to the Guild of Pet Professionals register as a qualified pet first-aider
Pet first-aider certified window sticker
