Course: Commercial Pet Groomer Certificate Course
This course is aimed at the beginner to learn all the basics of commercial pet dog grooming including clipping, styling to groom popular pet breeds. If you wish to groom your own dog, work in a salon or carry out basic dog grooming on popular breeds this course if for you....
(Please note this course does not include handstripping, handscissoring pet first-aid or business management this is covered on the Diploma Course. This course can be used as a stepping stone towards the diploma and students would be required to complete an additional 8 lessons and additional fees of £2500 would be required to complete the diploma please note it is more cost effective to enrol on the diploma that complete 2 seperate certifications.) Throughout the course you will groom a min of 12 dogs from start to finish covering a range of coat types and learning popular breed trims for the head, body, foot, ears and tails styles for everyday commerical pet grooming and how to adapt these to suit popular breeds. You will work on our range of training dogs and will be taught 1:1 on the dog you are working on so you can progress as quickly or slowly as you are able with a max of 5 students in the salon at any one time. You will also learn all about tools, equiptment maintance, safe handling and health and safety and salon management. Everything for the Aspiring groomer to start a career or business and gain a recognised qualification. (Please note the Diploma is the Industry standard Qualification for a fully qualified Groomer the certificate is a basic foundation groomer level qualification )

Qualification: Ofqual Regulated OCNNI LEVEL 3 Diploma in Commercial Dog Grooming , Animal Welfare & Salon Management includes Pet cpr and First-aid and Business Salon Management.
Attendance: 12 Hands on practical attednance dog grooming Lessons. 50 hours online homestudy.
Courses run all year round so you can start at any time. Lessons are tailored to suit so you can attend 1/2/3/4/5 days per week, we also have some weekend sat/sun lessons. Lesson duration is approx 3.5 hrs and you will groom one dog start to finish per lesson and complete associated training within that lesson. Weekday classes run 9.45am to approx 1.30pm daily and Sat/Sun 9am to approx 12.30pm.
Course Fee: £3495 - You have up to 12 months from registration to complete the course
Payment Plans:
50% deposit at time of enrolement £1747.50 then balance due in advance of day 4 £873.75 and day 7.
Fee includes: 12 HANDS ON lessons, online homestudy package includes salon management, course grooming manuals, styling charts, qualification registration, assessment and certification and eportfolio. Scissor pack and grooming overall.
On successful completion of the course students will be able to use CPG-Certified Professional Groomers Post nominal after there name and will receive an IACC Certificate of training as well as OCNNI official Qualification Certificate and Qualified Window Stickers. You will have ongoing email and student facebook support group Priceless!
All tuition is by European MasterCraftsman Qualified Award winning Groomer and Veterinary Nurse Nichola Moore L.C.G.I .
ENROLMENT: To enrol on a course you can fill in the course enrolment form or email iaccollege@aol.com on receipt we will forward you a payment link to pay by credit/debit card or you can pay via bank transfer if you wish. On receipt of your deposit we will send current list of available training dates for you to choose from. Within 48hrs of enrolement we will send you links to the online learning portals so you can start the theory and online coursework.

Nichola is not only a qualified Groomer but also qualified in veterinary nursing and is a leading industry consultant having helped develop many of the industry qualifications and is an examiner for many awarding bodies including City & Guilds & Open College Network. Nichola Holds a L4&5 Teaching certificate as well as assessor, verifier and external verifier. Nichola is passionate about animal care and education and enjoys teaching students to obtain their goals with many of our past student now industry achievers and awarding winning groomers and many running successful businesses over 20 years who better to train with!
