Just a brief note to let you
know how much i appreciated my training course at Smartpetz, although I had some concerns about "going back to School"
those worries were quickly brushed aside by your very friendly and supportive approach. I found the whole course
extremely useful particularly the emphasis placed on practical experience across a wide range of breeds. It was
also really helpful to be able to purchase everything i needed to kit out my entire salon at very competitive prices.
With your support and encouragement I have successfully completed The Diploma in Dog Grooming which has
given me the confidence to start my own salon, Moira Dog Grooming.

Having made the decision to train as a dog
groomer I searched for training schools in Northern Ireland. After discussing my options with Nichola Moore
at Smart Pets I booked my 2 week intensive course at her Bangor salon.
I found Nichola to be highly knowledgeable
about all things canine, including grooming procedures and business ownership. She led me through every process of bathing,
brushing and clipping, along with use of thinning and straight scissors. I had her undivided attention and an extensive
range of dog breeds to train on.
The training included Salon Health & Safety and Canine First Aid. I also
learnt how to handle dogs, large and small, with confidence.
Nichola was also able to advise on and supply
all of the equipment I would need to make my business start-up go smoothly.
Along with home study and the
hands on experience I felt confident to start the business I had dreamed of.
